Dix Jr. is a redshirt senior for ARUN after having played for WVMA for the 2023 season and FLST from 2020 -21. Plays the middle/inside linebacker position in WVMA’s 3-4 defensive scheme where he started in a rotational role and eventually earned the starting role as the season continued. Has good height, good weight and good speed to play the position. Displays athletic ability such as quick feet, play quickness, COD, play speed, acceleration, movement, agility, balance and flexibility. Good competitiveness, good intensity and good aggressiveness to play the position. Shows good FBI to read and react, good instincts and good awareness. Good quickness in pass drops. Good body control and good coordination to transition out of the back pedal. Good closing burst. Good ability to move through traffic. Good strength to take fullbacks, offensive linemen and tight ends. Good closing, good explosiveness and good finishing burst. Solid hand use to shed run blocks. Solid hands that show solid violence and quickness. Marginal ability to jolt/jam tight ends to slow release. Overall, Dix Jr. will have to be watched closely as goes up against power five competition, yet he shows the athletic and playmaking ability to play the inside linebacker position.
