West Virginia State University Football Player Jyilek Harrington Shot and Killed
Jyilek Harrington, a 21-year-old football player from Charlotte, North Carolina on the West Virginia University roster was shot and killed on Wednesday Night.
According to police, Harrington was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Harrington is a senior inside linebacker, and one of the leaders on the team.
According to reports, there was a dispute in the hallway of an apartment complex when multiple gunshots were fired.

The team is supposed to play tonight against Carson-Newman University. A moment of silence will be held prior to the kickoff.
