What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2025 NFL Draft

Was a Unanimous All-American last year, won the prestigious Cliff Harris Award, and won National Defensive Player of the Year for every big association.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

I’m a high-character man and player first and foremost. I treat others the way I want to be treated. Football-wise, I have lots of range and the ability to make a play on the ball in any situation. Also, I can come downhill and make tons of tackles.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

NMDP (National Marrow Donor Program). It’s a bone marrow and stem cell transplant donation foundation that I took part in May 2024. The chance to help save someone’s life is an amazing experience that I wouldn’t trade for the world.

Who was your role model?

My father Bill Volk. The ultimate leader and man of high character. Has taught me everything I know and what it looks like to be a man who treats others with respect.

Who is your favorite NFL team?

The team that wants to take a chance on me.

Who is the most underrated teammate at your school?

Tyler Flanagan. Running back #21, 1k yard rusher, straight dawg!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People that bite their fork when eating😂

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

My father. He taught a human performance class in high school that helped me learn a lot about myself, who I truly am, and how to develop great life skills.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

Knee surgery and the process you have to go through is very difficult but I was able to learn a lot about myself. It was probably the toughest time I’ve gone through. The grind and rehab every day wasn’t super fun but it helped me become who I am.

If you could have any franchise restaurant in your house what would it be?

Chick Fil A 100%

What is your favorite snack food?

Cheese, salami, and crackers

What is your degree in?

Business Administration

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Minkah Fitzpatrick- I believe he is the best free safety in the game and I would love to gain some knowledge of him to help improve my game.
  2. Kobe Bryant- To me, Kobe is the ultimate competitor and I would love to sit down and talk about his mentality and how he approached every day as a professional athlete.
  3. Phil Knight- Being from Beaverton, Oregon as well as Phil Knight, I would love to talk about the business side of things and learn about how he created a $billion company in Nike. Football isn’t forever so the more knowledge I can gain about business and how to run a business will ultimately help me in the long run of life.

What is your biggest weakness?

Probably my weight. I don’t look the part in person but play way bigger and stronger than I look. Not necessarily a weakness but something others might look at and have doubts about. My weight is something I’m willing to gain more of and play heavier at the next level.
