A hand in the dirt, Edge rusher who possesses a large frame and lengthy wingspan comparable to players at the next level and good AA that has a lot of raw talent and upside.
Has good get-off speed with good up field burst to apply pressure in the backfield. Has a strong bullrush using his very good play strength, and a swim move to compliment. Hits with heavy hands that can knock even bigger lineman out of their stances. Displays solid hand placement and usage as he consistently attacks the chest of opposing blockers. Has solid block shedding ability when rushing. Maintains good gap integrity in the run game. His strength allows him to battle double teams without losing any ground by maintaining a strong anchor using his lower body strength. Is a strong tackler that uses his strength and long arms to entrap any runner. Has a solid closing speed and ability to finish a play in the backfield.
Lacks a pass rush plan due to his lack of varying pass rush moves outside of his two effective moves. Struggles creating a 2nd move when rushing after his initial charge is countered. Struggles to bend around the around and relies solely on power to go through blockers.
