NFL Superstar offers to pay 1.5 million dollars to Free a Woman from Prison who Stole Chicken Wings
A 68-year-old woman named Vera Liddell was arrested and charged for reportedly stealing 1.5 million dollars in chicken wings.
Yes, chicken wings. The lady was convicted to 9 years in prison for stealing 11k cases of chicken wings.
The former elementary school worker from Chicago plead guilty to stealing the chicken wings 19 months ago.
Liddell was caught during an audit, when the school found out they were way above their budget for food.
Now, Chris Jones the Chiefs star defensive lineman who signed a massive contract went to Twitter to help free the 68-yearold woman.
“I’ll pay for the wings that she stole to get her free,” Jones wrote on X on Tuesday.
As crazy as this is, the system is broke. Jones can’t pay to get her out of prison unfortunately, but he can pay for an attorney. Let’s see what happens, but this is interesting.
