Markquese Bell, an ex-FAMU standout, led the Cowboys’ defense with an impressive performance, recording 6 tackles, 3 assists, and an interception.
In his second year, another FAMU Rattler, Xavier Smith, is quietly making waves with 4 receptions for 22 yards, averaging 5.5 yards per catch. What’s truly remarkable is his punt return performance—2 returns for 47 yards, averaging 23.5 yards per return, exceeding the NFL average of 23.0 yards.
Joshua Williams Continues to Excel for the Chiefs
Joshua Williams, a Fayetteville State alum and two-time Chiefs champion, continues to play at an elite level, contributing 2 tackles, with one assist.
Brandon Codrington Stands Out for the Jets
