Investing in their growth and development not only empowers them to reach their full potential but also builds a stronger, brighter future for everyone. Ensuring that every child has access to the resources and opportunities they need is a cause that’s deeply important to me.

Who was your role model?

My parents have always been my role models. They taught me the value of showing up every day and making it count, instilling in me a strong work ethic and dedication. My biggest pet peeve is when people smack their food.

Who is your favorite teacher ever?

My favorite teacher ever growing up was my high school algebra teacher, Ms. Ethridge. She always knew how to communicate and motivate students from all walks of life.

If I could have dinner with three people, dead or alive, it would be Camerron Long, Martin Luther King Jr., and Lamar Jackson. Cameroon Long is my cousin, who is not here with us anymore, so I’d love to see and speak with him one more time. Martin Luther King, because he was a true servant leader and because of what he did for African-Americans. Lastly, Lamar Jackson, because despite all the adversity and criticism he experienced leading up to the draft, he still persevered to become what he is today.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is believing I can handle anything, but that confidence can sometimes lead to being humbled in subtle ways.
