What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
Growing up I used to watch Ray Lewis and I used to just play backyard football and they suggested that I should play football so I did.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Getting to share the field with some guys I grew up playing ball with in high school. And getting to share the field with my brothers.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
I’ll say my mother because the things we went through and overcame are a testimony itself.
What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?
To enjoy it! We have a good team and I think we can truly be special this season.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Ray Lewis, I say that because of the knowledge and passion, he has not just for football but for life. I feel like I could learn a ton from him
6.What are your favorite things about playing football for Central Arkansas? There’s no other field like ours! Playing UCA has been an honor the love and compassion that the people have is unmatchable
What should we know about David Walker the person?
My identity isn’t in football that Jesus Christ died on the cross not only for my sins but for whoever sins that’s going to read this. He blessed me with ability to play this amazing game, to reach people that think football is all they got are simply just lost. I strive to be a “MOG” man of God every day, do I fall absolutely but the start is knowing who I am and who I serve.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
3-4 with me standing up, I like to display my dropping ability and to be able to rush the passer.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
Jesus Christ is the answer I can’t do it on my own so I had to rely on someone who could do it. Just simply learning and growing every day helps me in those hard times.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A player with passion and a motor that has a sense of urgency of getting to the ball and a hard worker.
What stands out about your film the most?
My motor and explosion to try to make a play or a difference in the game.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Demetrias Charles, his motor and what he brings to practice each and every day you can’t coach some of the traits he carries as a player. He loves the game excited to see what he does this season!
