Minnesota Vikings receiver Jordan Addison arrested on suspicion of DUI
Boy, the Vikings have a problem. Jordan Addison their star wide receiver was arrested on Friday near the LAX airport on suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to a police report, a West Los Angeles officer found a white Rolls Royce blocking a lane of I-105 westbound to Sepulveda Boulevard northbound.
The driver, later identified as Jordan Addison, was asleep behind the wheel, according to the report.
A DUI investigation led to Addison’s arrest at 11:36 p.m. PT. He was released from custody Saturday at 1:36 a.m.
This is the second time the star wide receiver has been arrested. Just last year, Addison was busted driving 140 miles per hour. He accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor speeding charge. He was fined 686 dollars in fines.
Police have not made public Addison’s blood alcohol content.
The crazy thing is it was five days after his teammate was killed in a driving accident. Earlier this year a coach for the Vikings was arrested for DUI as well. So they have a problem in Minnesota right now.
