Former Georgia High School Star DJ Thurman was killed in a car crash in Florida
A former Thomasville High School football player was killed in a car crash in Leon County in Florida.
According to the head football coach of Thomasville High School in Georgia, Jonathon Delay, Demorrio “DJ” Thurman the teams star wide receiver was killed in an accident.
The crash happened on Thomasville Road in Leon County, Florida last week. According to reports DJ’s car, “lost control for unknown reasons.”
His coach Delay said Thurman was a good wide receiver and cornerback, but an even better person.
Thurman was rewarded the play of the week in September 2022 when the speedy wide out tight roped the sideline to score a touchdown.
