Missouri College Football Player Shot To Death in Motel
A 20-year-old former star running back at Heard County High School in Franklin, Georgia was shot and killed in a motel.
Ashton Bonner, the running back at Central Methodist University in Missouri was shot to death at the LaQuinta Inn in Braselton, Georgia.
An Alabama man was arrested and charged with the murder of Bonner. Qualiss Jermaine Simmons, 21 was charged.
The 5’6 star running back appeared in three games at Central Methodist last year and ran for 7 yards on three carries.
Bonner was a speedy back, with an elusive cutting ability. He will be missed.
