Pittman’s Pocket: HBCU players who played in UFL Championship game
Another, outstanding year for Spring Football as the UFL Championship game concluded yesterday.
It looks like Spring Football will finally stay, as of yesterday the UFL Championship concluded, with the Birmingham Stallions defeating, the San Antonio Brahmas 25-0.
With 2 former HBCU players suited up, in the game historical event. Justin Smith #10 from Norfolk State University and Alex Armani Taylor #73 from South Carolina State suited up as the only HBCU players to play in this year’s inaugural UFL Championship.
Both HBCU alumnus are hoping to make NFL rosters as well within the next week as players are getting call ups and both players should be hearing there names pretty soon.
Alex Taylor anchored The Stallions all season long with former Hula Bowl alum Adrian Martinez and CJ Marble as they won they’re 3rd Championship in a row. Which now has placed the Birmingham Stallions an Franchise, defeating San Antonio Brahmas 25-0 last night capping off Skip Holtz Quick rise in his Professional coaching career and Wade Phillips championship journey.
Should the UFL have another HBCU Combine? So far it looks very successful!
