15-year-old football player shot multiple times during a pick-up football game

Amillier Penn was just outside playing football in the backyard with his friends, when he was brutally shot and killed.
Penn, 15, was playing football with his friends in the 400 block of Umatilla Street SE around 8:10 p.m. Sunday, when he was shot and killed.
The police say he was shot multiple times including in the face. He was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy completed Wednesday ruled that death a murder.
The West Michigan Silent Observer posted to Facebook Tuesday that they’re offering a $3,200 reward for information in the shooting.
Anyone with information can also contact the Grand Rapids Police Department or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
This is so sad, how does this keep happening in the United States? Kids just playing football in their backyard when they are viciously killed. It makes no sense. Please pray for the Penn family.
A GoFundMe was created for his family.
