Star South Carolina High School football player arrested after getting into a shootout in a parking lot

Davian Brown the star running back from Fort Dorchester High School that racked up 2,293 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns in his career is now recovering after being shot twice in a shootout in South Carolina.
According to reports, Brown, 18, is facing two charges of attempted murder. An unknown juvenile is also facing attempted murder charges.
The shootout happened in a parking lot of Rivers Avenue. Witnesses told police that shortly before 1 p.m., a black SUV and a grey sedan started shooting at each other before speeding off and chasing each other eastbound on Rivers Avenue toward Interstate 26, the North Charleston Police Department incident report reads.
Brown was shot in the leg twice. The juvenile male was shot in the arm, according to the incident report.
Police found 21 shell casings, one projectile and one piece of plastic that is believed to belong to the black SUV suspect vehicle, police said.
Brown intended to sign as a preferred walk-on with Charleston Southern University (CSU) to play football.
