Christian McCaffrey will be on the cover of Madden 25
Christian McCaffrey will be on the cover of Madden. He is the first time a running back was on the front cover since Adrian Peterson and Barry Sanders were on the 25th Anniversary cover, which was 11 years ago.
McCaffrey is the first time the Niners have had a member on the Madden Cover in decades.
Despite being among the most popular players in the NFL and having played, albeit a loss, in the 2024 Super Bowl, McCaffrey says he was “genuinely shocked” to have been selected for the cover.
“I never expected to be on the cover of Madden. It’s something that I never even envisioned myself doing or accomplishing so when I got the call, I felt unbelievably grateful,” McCaffrey told People Magazine.
This is pretty cool! Hopefully the Madden does not happen!
