5 NFL Players That Will Break Out in A Big Way in 2024

As the NFL gears up for another thrilling season, anticipation builds around which players will emerge as the league’s next breakout stars. Every year brings fresh opportunities for talent to shine brighter, and 2024 promises to be no exception. From promising rookies to seasoned veterans poised for a career-defining year, the upcoming season is primed to showcase the ascent of several players ready to make their mark on the gridiron.

In this article, we explore five NFL players who have the potential to break out in a significant way in 2024. Whether through extraordinary talent, improved skills, or changing circumstances, these athletes are positioned to elevate their performances and leave a lasting impact on their teams and the league as a whole. Join us as we delve into their stories, strengths, and what makes them standout candidates for breakout success in the upcoming NFL season.

Kayvon Thibodeaux – DE – New York Giants – Kayvon Thibodeaux has flashed greatness during his first two seasons with the New York Giants and began to truly take a leap last year when he finished with 11.5 sacks. I can see him hitting 15 plus sacks in 2024, he is going to dominate lineman this year.

Drake London – WR – Atlanta Falcons – Drake London set a team record for most receptions over his first two seasons with the Falcons. He’s caught 141 passes for 1,771 yards since entering the league as the eighth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.  Now add in the fact he finally has a quarterback in Kirk Cousins, and I think London is going to blow up.

Breece Hall – RB – New York Jets – Hall was a two-time All-American and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year. Hall was selected by the Jets in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He has been stopped by injuries, but I think the Jets success will rely on this guys performance, and I have a feeling he will tear it up in 2024.

Bryce Young – QB – Carolina Panthers – Year one is out the way and the Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is due for breakthrough season. He has a new head coach in Dave Canales, who will make it easier for his young signal-caller. Canales has worked with Geno Smith and Baker Mayfield and helped them both become serviceable.

Christian Benford – CB – Buffalo Bills – The Buffalo Bills selected Kaiir Elam in the first round and Benford in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Benford when on the field is one of the better corners on the team. I have a feeling Benford is destined for a breakout season which could end up putting him in the Pro Bowl. He has great ball skills and is one of the smartest kids in the film room.
