Aaron Rodgers bails on Jets practice without getting an excuse | Saleh chimes in
Hassan Reddick is not the only New York Jets football player not at minicamp today. Aaron Rodgers the star quarterback was also missing from practice.
Rodgers said just a few months ago that Anything in this building that we’re doing that has nothing to do with winning needs to be assessed. Everything that we do has to have a purpose … the bulls— that has nothing to do with winning has to get out of the building.
Then he missed practice today, and his head coach Robert Saleh said he missed mini camp to an event that is very important to him.
Haason Reddick, whom they acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles earlier in the offseason, is also declining to report for camp as he is holding out for a new contract.
There is a lot of hype around the Jets in the off-season. It will be interesting to see if they can pull it all together.
