UFL League is averaging 9,834 fans per game on the year and UFL exec blames the league for poor attendance

If you love football, the UFL has been pretty promising. The UFL has been pretty amazing, since the merger of the USFL and XFL. Daryl Johnston aka Moose the legendary Cowboys fullback takes full responsibility for the poor attendance as well.

While the attendance at St. Louis has been legendary the rest of the league is not average anywhere near the number from St. Louis.

Battlehawks are averaging 34,362 fans through four games, while the rest of the league is averaging 9,834 fans per game.

This week the attendance dropped to around 8.325 fans per game, after both Memphis and Houston barely had 6k plus fans.

Daryl Johnston says the league is responsible for the poor attendance.

“I think there’s responsibility on our side with us not getting the (XFL-USFL) merger done as quickly as we had hoped to,” UFL executive vice president of football operations told Action News 5 in Memphis.

“You know early on in the season, we’d only been a league for a short period of time. Your marketing groups not up, your ticket sales aren’t up, you haven’t finalized your schedule yet, so how can you have ticket sales?”

I think this league will be in good shape, they are doing things the right way.
