Josh Allen feels he can play in the NBA as a player that shoots threes and plays D
Josh Allen is one of the most special quarterbacks in the NFL and he was asked about playing another sport, after Austin Rivers comments on NFL players playing in the NBA, and Allen was pretty straightforward in his response.
“I think there’s guys on both sides that have the ability to,”
“I think I can give some good minutes. A ‘three-and-D guy.’ Like, I’m gonna bust my tail on defense and chuck up a shot or two and pray that it goes in. But I’m gonna box out and go get some rebounds,” Allen said about his own chances of success in professional basketball.
“I think I have the tools to do that. But I can give you, like, I can give you a good six or seven minutes off the bench.”
I mean shoot Josh Allen is a big boy who is pretty physical. He was smashing homeruns in a softball homerun derby last week and he looks athletic enough to play basketball. I think he would be a great defender, because he is a pretty hyper person.
At least you know he is going to play all the way through the game.
