Former Pennsylvania High School football player killed in Ohio Building Explosion

A former Pennsylvania High School football player was killed in a building explosion in Ohio.
According to the coroners office, Akil Drake, 27, the former standout high school football player at Penn Hills was the only person killed in the explosion. Drake worked as an employee of Chase Bank. The explosion caused 7 hospitalizations.
Drake played football at Penn Hills, graduating in 2015 and attending Youngstown State. He didn’t play football at YSU. Drake worked with the team, helping with shooting, editing and producing football film study before graduating with a degree in finance in 2019.
