Early Look at 2025 QB Prospects

When you take an early glance at the pool of quarterback talent for the upcoming 2025 College Football season, there aren’t many guys that stand out as potential draft stars.

Headlining the class among the consensus are guys like Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Texas’s Quinn Ewers, however, both guys have a lot left to be desired.

Some hidden talents among the quarterback classes potentially include Preston Stone from SMU, Drew Allar from Penn State, and Will Howard, who will finish his college career in Washington this season. 

When you look at the talent level of the 2025 class compared to the past years, it does seem like we are in for a rough year at the position. However, something to keep in mind is that every year, surprise prospects make their way up to the top of boards. For instance, last year at this time, we could not have guessed that Jayden Daniels would have been a top 3 draft pick. The same goes for guys like Anthony Richardson, and Baker Mayfield.

So who will be the surprise quarterback prospect that jumps the rankings this year? It’s a very easy year for us to see something like this happen.
