Michigan Panthers’ Jake Bates kicks 62-yard field goal, a week after hitting from 64

Who is Jake Bates, and why is he not in the NFL?
Jake Bates gave the Michigan Panthers a win in UFL Week One with a 64-yard field goal despite it being his first field-goal attempt since high school, and he just followed it up with another huge kick.
The former Arkansas kicking specialist was back at it again in Week 2, nailing a 62-yard field goal.
Jake Bates has made history too! ESPN posted this saying there has only been one time in NFL history where a player has hit back to back 60 yard field goals. That was Brett Maher and now Jake Bates! Check out his reaction below!
