The family of OJ Simpson will not donate his brain to science for CTE testing

The New York Post is reporting that the family of OJ Simpson will not donate the star running backs’ brain for research.
According to the families attorney and longtime family friend Malcolm LaVergne said the family quickly responded with a “hard no”
“With O.J., everything’s wild, but I’ve been getting calls from medical centers that are doing CTE testing asking me for OJ’s brain – that is not happening,” LaVergne told the media outlet.
OJ Simpson will be cremated, per his request. In recent years, doctors have expressed interest in former football players and other athletes’ brains to study the effect of mass trauma that they experienced throughout their playing careers.
There are reports, OJ Simpson suffered a ton of concussions in his playing career for the Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers.
May the Great OJ rest in Peace.
