What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
I was a little kid and played flag football and ever since I really liked everything that involved football I got a full-ride scholarship and I wanted to be the best and get into the NFL.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Definitely when I earned a full-ride scholarship to play college football during my senior year of high school.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
Being on a 53-man roster contributing to a team as a starter and continuing to play the sport I’ve loved since I was little.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Anthony Muñoz, he was one of the first Mexican-American players to get into the NFL and he played tackle for the Bengals I’d love to sit down and talk to him about life and football.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My little brother is someone I want to show how to be a great man, friend, and athlete. I want him to look up to me and become an amazing person that’s better than me.
What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?
I love a great outside zone, RPO team that allows the offensive line to move and get the running back lanes to run the ball.
What should we know about Jaime Navarro the person?
Loves people, love working hard and having fun, contributing to things bigger than I am, and spending time with family and friends when I have time to. I’m a Mexican-American who is a hard worker and lives a lifestyle.
What stands out about your film the most?
My football IQ, athleticism, speed, and having fun while playing the game and being a team player having fun with teammates.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I look towards faith and family and friends for support, working as a team to get through things, and praying to God, hoping for support and answers in hard times.
What would a team get in a player like you?
Someone who is devoted to working hard, being a team player, and someone who shows up with a smile looking to get better with his teammates.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
I love being on a team, building friendships on that team, and working together through hard times to get success.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Derrick Deese played with me in the 2020 season and is in the UFL he is a monster who could catch the ball and block and he was also an amazing teammate.
