Florida HS football player killed in crash one month after his brother was shot and killed

According to reports, a Florida High School football player and three of his high school friends were killed in a car accident.
Newberry High School’s Lawrence McClendon Jr. (18) was one of four people killed in a weekend crash in Waldo.
Newberry’s head football coach Ed Johnson said this about McClendon.
“Lawrence was a great kid to be around and have in our program, as a football player he was competitive, talented, and relentless with a knack for making big plays. Everyone in the Panther football family will truly miss him.”
The sad thing is McClendon is also the brother of Jermaine Godbolt, an 18-year-old Newberry senior who was shot and killed last month, according to Main Street Daily News.
McLendon played defensive back and was a Sophomore.
Please keep the family in your prayers, it has to be hard losing two children in the same year.
