Coming out of high school I had a path to play professional rugby and I had my studies and football presented itself with an opportunity to play while getting degrees in college for me.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Besides being with the team and in college, probably the PAC 12 championship in 2022 catching a touchdown pass against USC and doing it on that stage was pretty cool, it was a pretty big high and definitely my most memorable moment.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Make the NFL and I believe I have a lot more to show and my ceiling is a lot higher and I can showcase I can be a dominant player in the NFL.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Rob Gronkowski, he’s a big inspiration to why I played tight end and the reason I wore number 87 and he has a cool personality and a lot of knowledge about the game.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad is a big inspiration with his upbringing he had less opportunities growing up and he worked extremely hard to provide for my brothers and myself. He pushed me really hard to take on this opportunity and he has been a huge inspiration in my life.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

The offensive scheme at Utah I really liked the way tight ends are used here and it’s one of the reasons I’ve had success here.

I’m a guy that’s not going to back down from a challenge and if I’m going to do something I’m going to attack it and persevere and get through it and those are my best qualities.

What stands out about your film the most?

My yards after catch and I definitely believe I have room to grow and with the ball in my hands my yards after catch is my best attribute.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Just my perseverance and resilient attitude to get the opportunities I got even though I was behind two great tight ends at Utah. I just grind to get what I need done and even academically I am relentless to get through whatever and no one is going to stop me.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A tight end who is a person who can showcase his talents and believes he is one of the best tight ends and my yards after catch is better than anyone and I believe that I can show more and if a team brings me in they will have the opportunity to see that and I am just scratching the surface.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

In terms of actually playing the sport I love the violent nature and I love running with the ball and it’s a fun aspect of the game and that’s why I love playing.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Devaughn Vele, at Utah he’s very much appreciated but from outside sources he doesn’t get enough love and is an unbelievable player and leader and he can be just as valuable as a quarterback.
