Jerome Bettis Jr. is following in his father’s footsteps | Commits’ to Notre Dame

Jerome Bettis Jr. is headed to Notre Dame to play for his Father’s alma mater.
The three-star wide receiver and the son of former Irish running back Jerome Bettis Sr. (1990-92), announced Sunday his verbal commitment to Notre Dame’s 2025 recruiting class.
Listed at 6-feet-2 and 190 pounds, Bettis is ranked as the No. 83 wide receiver in the Class of 2025 in the 247Sports ratings. He played both ways for a Woodward Academy in the state of Georgia.
Bettis Jr. shared the news on St. Patrick’s Day, which also serves as the football program’s “Pot of Gold” Day in which close to 100 offers are expected to be extended to 2026 class recruits.
Jerome Bettis Sr. played three years of college football at Notre Dame, rushing for 1,912 yards and 27 touchdowns.
