Keep an Eye on UCF Wide Receiver Javon Baker in the 2024 NFL Draft

This wide receiver class is easily one of the deepest classes of all time. Guys keep coming out of nowhere and continue to rise up the rankings much like UCF’s Javon Baker. Baker was one of the last guys I scouted in that wideout group but he’s also one of the best. 

He’s a dynamic player with a fully furnished skillset. He’s able to locate the ball effectively and makes acrobatic catches in the process. He can sharpen up his ability to run after the catch as he seems to lack a second gear and burst of explosiveness after the catch. All in all, he’s a polished receiver with a lot to like.

In the mix of all these talented wide receivers, It can be hard to place them all firmly on a scale. When you’re looking at the top half of the list, Javon Baker’s name should not be absent. He can play just as well as guys like Devontez Walker, Troy Franklin, and even higher-ranked guys like Adonai Mitchell. 

Javon Baker is a prospect I would really keep an eye on. If he goes to a suitable family in the draft, he could be a problem at the next level.
