North Carolina college football player Shemar Hayes shot and killed
According to reports, Louisburg College star wide receiver Shemar Hayes, 23, was murdered in Charlotte, NC on March 12, 2024.
Shemar was a star high school football player that went on to play in college at Louisburg.
According to police, officers responded to an assault with deadly weapon call and it was not long before they found a male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
Shemar Hayes attended Rocky River High School and graduated in 2019. He played wide receiver and earned a scholarship to Louisburg College.
