Mother of high school football player files a lawsuit after son was hazed and subject to voyeurism

A mother of a young high school football player in Ridge View High School in South Carolina is suing the Richland School District Two, after she claims her son was on the football team and the subject to hazing and voyeurism.
According to the lawsuit, the boy’s teammates took a video of him while hw as using the restroom back in 2021 and then shared it with one another.
The District has a common law duty to protect the football player from harm, to include abuse, hazing, bullying, sexual assault and voyeurism while under their care. That is what the lawsuit claims.
The football player, who is not named in the lawsuit, was allegedly made fun of and ridiculed as the video was shared in group chats.
Because of this hazing and voyeurism claim the young man quit the football team.
Just last year, Richland Two district lost a lawsuit of a player at Ridge View High School basketball team which settled for 285,000 dollars.
