Who is the NFL player you compare yourself the most to? Why is that?

I watch film of and compare myself to Dexter Lawrence. We are comparable in measurements and I attempt to mimic his game.

What aspects of playing in the NFL do you find to be intriguing?

Only the elite make it to the NFL so of course that’s the most intriguing part.

In what ways have you improved since last season?

I’ve been working with our team nutritionist on my diet to lean out. And I have added HotWorx to my active recovery to improve my core strength and flexibility.

What is your favorite memory so far as a college football player?

My favorite memory was when I got my first college career sack against Michigan. It was on my Mom’s birthday and she said she wanted me to get a sack and it felt good to make her wish come true.

What is the most important thing you would like NFL scouts, coaches and general managers to know about you?

That they will be getting Dawg!   My focus is to get 1 percent better every day in all aspects of life. During my college career, I’ve had to overcome a level of adversity I had never experienced. My personality didn’t fit in at Penn State and I felt like I was on an island.  It was a difficult couple of years. My competitiveness and toughness got me through that time and to Purdue. At Purdue, I’ve been able to work on my game with the staff which has strengthened my discipline. The trifecta of a Dawg is being competitive, tough and disciplined.
