VIDEO: Alabama High School football coach who was missing off the Florida Gulf Coast has been found alive by Coast Guard
An Alabama High School football coach Chris Smelley has been found alive and safe off the Florida Gulf Coast.
According to reports, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the 37-year-old high school football coach went missing from a solo kayaking trip.
Everyone was searching for the football coach off the Gulf of Mexico and they were able to locate him today.
The United States Coast Guard found him safe. The U.S. Coast Guard had a helicopter offshore doing a grid search, according to the sheriff’s office.
