3 Underrated Prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft

So far, you’ve heard all the buzz surrounding the top prospects in the Draft. What about the guys in the later rounds fighting for a higher draft spot? Here’s three players that I believe have so far flown under the radar, and need to be in the limelight.

  1. Devin Leary – QB, Kentucky

Devin Leary looked good at the NFL Combine. His passes looked tight and accurate during all his throwing sessions. He also shined at the East West Shrine Bowl, as he looked athletic and smooth. Keep an eye on Devin Leary. If he lands with a good fit of a team, he could do damage in the league.

  1. Khyree Jackson – CB, Oregon

Khyree Jackson displays one of the most rewarding traits for a cornerback in today’s game. His ability to recover after a misstep or being beat is elite and will help him out tremendously. He has a good length frame and size with long arms, and fluid moving hips. He’s able to move fluid up and down the field, and his game has a very smooth feel to it, similar to Tariq Woolen. Also like Woolen, he has good ball skills down the field and demonstrates control and a good tracking ability for the high point of the ball in the air.

  1. Jackson Mitchell – LB, UCONN

Mitchell showcases remarkable toughness and versatility, adept at disrupting plays by getting under the pads of tackles or using a variety of moves to gain inside leverage. His fluid pursuit allows him to make plays sideline to sideline, while his coverage skills make him effective against tight ends and running backs. As an inside blitzer, he displays burst and disruption, adding depth to his game. Despite his small frame, Mitchell takes proper angles and excels in space, making impactful plays downfield.
