But of course, in 2000, things were different at the position. Barring Michael Vick, who was drafted in 2001, there were very few Kyler Murray or Lamar Jackson types who did the things modern NFL QBs are capable of.
Tom Brady actually ran a 5.28 forty yard dash at 20 years old. Just to explain how bad that forty yard dash is remember this, Vince Wilfork who ended up being Tom Brady’s teammate and was also over 300 pounds ran a 5.21 forty yard dash.
