Trey Holly a 19 year old future star running back’s career has been put on hold after he was arrested for attempted second-degree murder following a shooting in Farmerville. Holly won Co-Freshman of the Week this year and had a bright future.

Holly was one of the state’s All-Time leading rushers in high school and finished with 160 career touchdowns and 10,523 yards. He led Farmerville to three consecutive state championships.

According to the Sheriff’s, the shooting happened on February 9th at night.

A woman was shot in the back and taken to LSU Shreveport, while a man was shot in the leg. Authorities say the woman, is now in stable condition.

Holly’s additional charges include one count of aggravated criminal damage to property and one count of illegal use of a weapon.

He is currently being held in the Union Parish Detention Center and his bond has been set for $512,000.
