Ohio State DB Josh Proctor is ready to prove himself at the NFL Combine

Ohio State is well-known as an NFL Draft factory.  Defensive back Josh Proctor is one such player who drew a large press scrum at this conference at the NFL Combine on Thursday. 

“I just felt like it helped me mature and helped me grow,” Proctor said.  “Overall it’s just a great opportunity to be a better person and better player at the end of the day.  “I’ve talked to a few (current and former Buckeyes who have been to the Combine).  They said to take it one day at a time and enjoy the experience.”

Proctor said his approach to the NFL Combine is one in which he sees himself with a chip on his shoulder.  He added that he came to Indy to prove his worth in front of all the league’s teams.

“A passionate guy,” Proctor said when asked what an NFL team would get from him.  “I’ve wanted this for as long as I can remember.”
