Central Washington football player was arrested and charged with rape
Kai David Peter Lane, an 18-year-old defensive lineman for Central Washington University has been charged with rape.
Kai David Peter Lane of Sammamish was arrested Wednesday after a woman who met him at a party said she was raped after he pulled her into a downstairs bedroom after a night of drinking.
Lane is facing five felony accusations. He was charged with two counts of second-degree rape and individual counts of third-degree rape, indecent liberties, and indecent liberties with forcible compulsion.
Obviously, Kai is innocent until proven guilty by the courts, but this is a blow to the CWU football team. The 6’4 defensive lineman is a big prospect and a solid player.
