What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

When I was younger my family grew up playing sports and nobody really played football besides my grandparents on my mom’s side and football was just different for me so I wanted to play it.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

High school we end up winning a state championship, getting the opportunities to play at Ball State and UCLA and scoring touchdowns. But overall just getting the opportunity to play the game I love.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Obviously playing at the next level and win a Super Bowl but just getting an opportunity to play in the NFL wherever my team needs me.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Barry Sanders would be my favorite one to hang out for a day if I got the chance to.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom and dad, they’ve been in my corner through the ups and downs and have inspired me to keep pushing.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

Anything with an inside zone type play, I’m a power back so I love running inside.

What should we know about Carson Steele the person?

I’m a hard worker who will get anything done in my way, nice person but I like working through my things alone, not much of a hype guy.

What stands out about your film the most?

The yards after contact and missed tackles. Those are the two things I strive for when I’m training.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Taking my mind off of it and talk to my family for advice to get through things and take small steps to move forward.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Somebody who is willing to do it all and that’s my mindset heading into the NFL and available to do whatever is needed maybe even switching positions.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

Scoring touchdowns personally but also coming out as a team and winning and get through things on the field as a team.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Darius Muasau, he’s a great talent and knows the game of football really well.
