What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
Just really passionate about the game and I enjoy the mental and physical challenges it provides and the thrill of competing against other players and it gives me an escape from everyday life.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Getting a full ride coming out of high school and winning a championship at Bowie State in the 2021 season.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
I’m trying to get to the NFL and I’d love to get an opportunity there and if not get a UFL or CFL opportunity and those are my aspirations.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Sean Taylor, he was my favorite player growing up and I just loved watching him.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My mom, just watching her grow and it inspires me to be the man I am today. And she’s always inspired me to achieve my goals and I literally wouldn’t be here without her.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
3-3-5, there’s a lot of speed on the field in this scheme and the defensive backs allow me to get to the quarterback and get more sacks.
What should we know about Cameron Chesley the person?
I’m a very hardworking person that wants to achieve every goal I have and I’m a perfectionist and want to be the best at everything I do and I’m family oriented and a man of God.
What stands out about your film the most?
My speed and my relentless pursuit and my motor.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
First and foremost, pray to God and I talk and listen to him as he guides me to the proper steps.
What would a team get in a player like you?
An all around amazing athlete that does his job and will compete that’s very versatile.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Kaleb Chester, he was a center, and was overlooked due to his size but his technique was impeccable and he did a very good job.
