A Youngstown State University football player is facing a felonious assault charge

Dominique Julius, 20, of Philadelphia, will be arraigned Wednesday in municipal court on a felonious assault charge, which is a second-degree felony.
The Youngstown State cornerback is accused of punching a man at about 1 a.m. on February 11 at The Social nightclub, 112 W. Commerce Street.
Police learned from witnesses, the victim had nothing to do with the argument. He was taken to the hospital by private car, where he was treated for his injuries.
According to police reports, Julius swung and hit the victim, while police were separating two groups arguing. This happened moments after security guards removed two YSU football players from the club.
Julius is a solid prospect from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia.
