2 Rhode Island men charged in connection to September death of Patriots fan at Gillette Stadium
Two Rhode Island men have been charged in connection to a September death of a New England Patriots fan at Gillette Stadium, according to reports.
Both Justin Mitchell, 39 and John Vieira, 59 of Rhode Island were charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct.
We covered this story back in September when Dale Mooney a long time Patriots fan and season ticket holder was killed from an incident that occurred on September 17th at Gillette Stadium.
There was a ton of evidence against the two men. According to police, there were multiple videos captured showing Mooney and the two men getting into a verbal altercation that led to the brawl.
Many at the scene felt Mooney was trying to get the two men to fight him, but this will now go to a trial.
