Police want to charge three men in the death of the fan at the New England Patriots game last month
Police are looking to charge three men that reportedly played a role in an altercation at a Patriots game last month that resulted in the death of one long time Pats fan.
A longtime New England Patriots fan died at the game after being punched by a Miami Dolphins fan, and hitting his head on the ground, causing him to lose consciousness and never regain it.
The fan, Dale Mooney, was a 30 year season ticket holder who was at the game with his son when this happened.
While cops did not reveal the names of the men nor any further details of the evidence. They have submitted criminal complaints to prosecutors seeking assault and battery and disorderly conduct charges against a trio of Rhode Island men. They did say they believe the men were somehow involved in the altercation that resulted in Dale Mooney‘s death at the Pats vs. Dolphins game at Gillette Stadium.
