What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2024 NFL Draft? 

My ability to lead a team and throw accurately, from multiple arm angles while navigating the pocket

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

6 years old

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

They should know about my competitiveness and persistency. I will do whatever it takes to find a way to win. 

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be? 

Cancer Research because I have had family members die from cancer. 

What is the best advice you have ever received? 

There are no shortcuts in life, if you want something then you have to do the work.

My dad

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school? 

Chandler Smith

What is your biggest pet peeve? 

Laziness and people who constantly blame others 

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome? 

From a football standpoint, I broke my leg my junior year and didn’t start until my senior year. I had no idea where I was going to college until I got an offer to Murray State 5 days before signing day. Following a year and half there, I went to junior college during covid which greatly affected the recruiting process. 

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

I grew up in Birmingham and always loved Samford. What is so special to me about Samford is the people and the lifelong relationships I have formed there 

What is your favorite snack food? 

Snickers

What is the best part of football? 

It allows you to compete with your teammates. Football is a true team sport because if one person doesn’t do their job you will likely fail. 

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say? 

I am a natural leader who loves competition and I have the ability to make the people around me better. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be? 

Gardner Minshew

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why? 

Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods. I’m fascinated by their stories, their compete nature, and what constantly drove them to be great.
