What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?
At first it was just for fun but as I got older the belief that I got from my family, close friends and my coaches that I could take it far with it made me want to play even more.
What are your favorite moments from your football life?
Favorite moments are my pick 6s I had this past season and all the traveling around the world that football let me see.
Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?
My grandparents, they just showed me since a kid what hard work is and the never give up mentality.
What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?
Just to learn even more things that I don’t know and to reach my full potential I feel like I haven’t hit my peak yet.
If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?
Charles Woodson. My opinion I just think he’s the best DB of all time was able to play both corner & safety at a high level.
What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?
4-2-5 the game is a lot more passive and fast now so the more DB’s on the field the better.
What should we know about Samuel Fairley the person?
I’m a laid back person, easy to get along with, and just looking for an opportunity.
What stands out about your film the most?
I feel my film shows that I find the ball whether in the air or with ball carriers and I make the play.
How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?
I don’t panic in life or on the field whatever the problem is I just find the best way to address it without causing more harm.
What would a team get in a player like you?
A great listener and leader just a overall great teammate and someone you want in your locker room.
What do you love the most about the game of football?
Competition, I love competing and playing in front of big crowds.
Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?
Khadir Roberts was an elite lockdown corner at Slippery Rock a guy you can feel comfortable leaving on an island to guard the other team’s best WR.
