Former Colorado RB is suing the NCAA seeking part of the television revenue

NIL has changed the game for college football players, with some players making millions to play college football.
Well, one former college player is now trying to sue the NCAA in a class-action lawsuit to get a piece of the pie of the television revenue that NCAA football teams make.
Former CU running back Alex Fontenot has filed a class-action federal lawsuit against the NCAA and the Power Five conferences, seeking part of the television revenue earned by networks to be split among college football players.
The former Colorado running back believes athletes are entitled to receive a substantial portion of the revenue, given that it is brought in by the athletes’ labor.
Fontenot played for Colorado from 2017 through 2022.
