Former Mississippi Gulf Coast college football player shot and killed
Peyton Davidson a former college football player at Mississippi Gulf Coast was shot and killed in El Reno, Oklahoma.
Davidson was shot in El Reno Saturday morning and was pronounced brain dead. He then was pronounced dead at 7:57 p.m. Saturday night.
Davidson played football at Quitman High School in Oklahoma and is the son of Jason Davidson the school’s football coach and a teacher at Quitman.
Davidson graduated in 2021 and played for MGCU the following year.
