Week 4 Top FBS Performers | Presented by the Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl
The Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl will be played in Orlando, Florida on January 13th, 2024 and is televised on CBS Sports. The staff at NFL Draft Diamonds has worked for the past three years as the scouting staff for the Hula Bowl, and we are excited to get the 2023-24 season underway. With tons of great football games in the NCAA this week, we wanted to break down several of the Top Performers in the FBS that would have eligibility to play in our game. We are definitely watching, and had scouts at 18 games this week around the country. Let’s break down some of the best performances from week 4.
Brenden Rice, WR, USC – The son of Jerry Rice had a huge game this past weekend. The 6’3, 210 pound wide out tore up Arizona State for two touchdowns. He finished the game with 7 receptions and 133 yards including a nice 43 yard reception.
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU – Jayden Daniels had an amazing game this week against Arkansas pulling away with the big win. He finished 20/29 for 320 yards and threw four touchdowns. Daniels has been very good at making plays for the Tigers this year in the passing game.
Deshaun Fenwick, RB, Oregon State – The Bradenton, Florida native had a huge week against Washington State. Even though the Beavers came up short, Fenwick rumbled for 101 yards on just 11 carries including three touchdowns. He averaged 9.2 yards a carry, they should have kept feeding him.
Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida – The Chandler, Arizona native came down with one of the nastiest catches of the year. He finished the game this week against Charlotte with 6 receptions and 104 yards. He is a very solid route runner and is a diamond in the rough.
Kenny Logan Jr., S, Kansas – Kansas Jayhawks are 4-0 and the senior defensive back continues to make plays. He finished the game with 4 tackles, a spectacular pick six touchdown and two passes defended. The Florida native is always around the ball.
