Pennsylvania high school football game ends in a tie after a player collapsed on the sidelines
A game last night between Selinsgrove and Jersey Shore ended with 12 seconds left on the game clock. When Jersey Shore called a time out and were coming off the field a player from Jersey Shore collapsed as near the sideline.
Last week, Mason Martin collapsed during a game and is still fighting for his life. He too lived in Pennsylvania.
Emergency medical personnel then tended to the player, and the player was later loaded into an on-field ambulance.
After a 15-minute meeting between Jersey Shore and Selinsgrove coaches and game officials, the decision was made to end the game in a 21-21 tie.
Players and coaches from both Selinsgrove and Jersey Shore gathered in a moment of prayer.
The player’s identity and a medical update is unknown at this time. Please keep the Jersey Shore football player in your prayers during this tough time.
