Health of high school football player that collapsed during the game is rapidly declining
We need prayer warriors that can come together to lift up Max Engle. The Jersey Shore football player who collapsed during Friday Night’s game is rapidly declining, and his medical prognosis is “not good”.
The Jersey Shore Area School District did not go into detail about Max’s condition, but asked for prayers.
Hello Jersey Shore Community,
It is with heavy hearts that we must share distressing news regarding one of our own. Max Engle’s condition has rapidly declined and the medical prognosis is not good.
In this challenging time, our thoughts and prayers go out to Max and his family, who have expressed appreciation for all of the support. The family is continuing to ask for privacy.
We understand that this news is difficult to process, and it impacts our entire community deeply.
We encourage you to continue to extend your support, thoughts, and prayers to Max and his family during this difficult time.
Please find information below on how to contact the Center for Community Resources for support in a crisis.
The district will continue to have counseling staff on hand to support staff and students through this difficult time.
Best,
