High School football recruit that put a Billboard Up to get attention of Arkansas Coach lands scholarship!
This is super creative. Two years ago, Bear McWhorter a 13 year old football player at the time wanted to play for Coach Sam Pittman and Arkansas Razorbacks after attending a camp. So his father came up with an idea to get the young player a scholarship.
His father paid for a billboard on I-49 toward Fayetteville, Arkansas, to get to the head coach. This is much better than an email.
The Billboard read “COACH PITTMAN, I WANT TO BE A HOG,” and it was really hard to miss.
Well, that billboard worked! Bear committed to Arkansas.
The 6’4, 300 pound lineman from Cartersville, Georgia is a 2026 prospect but he will be a HOG!
McWhorter had offers from Georgia, Texas and Florida State but wanted to play for Coach Pittman. You gotta love it! Follow your Dreams kids!
